The margs are great! I love the enchiladas and fajitas. My BF almost always gets the Huevos Rancheros with potatoes. The service is exceptional! Always busy - go on the off hours - mid afternoon if you can!!!

What a great newish addition to Austin Texas Mex. The cheese enchiladas dinner was out of this world. Service fantastic and fun authentic environment

We love this place. In my opinion, they have the best cheese enchiladas in town. The enchiladas are always hot and gooey with cheese. I get them with onions. I also love the beef fajita taco ala Mexicana. It's not on the menu. It's basically a beef fajita taco with grilled tomatoes, onions, and Serrano peppers. Prepare your mouth for some peppery heat because the Serranos pack a lot of heat. The salsa is always spot on. The tortilla chips are just your standard chips. As a side note, be prepared to wait for a table during peak hours, usually between 5 and 7.

Fajitas are back to their regularly scheduled program . Where else can you get fajitas for two for $35? The beef and chicken combination is the best with lots of green peppers to boost. Get a frozen or two that are strong and tasty.

First time here. Stand alone restaurant on Anderson in north Austin. Nothing fancy. Crowd looked to be blue collar. Good sign! Went with a friend. We both oprdered enchiladas, rice, and beans. Service was fast Food was good. We left fully sated and ready for a nap! Recommended

Went yesterday around 3pm and even though raining, found a parking spot in the lot not too far from the door which is rare. Consistently good food here. Ordered small margaritas which I guess for their locals during the week they spike them. We ordered Enchiladas Con Queso and Enchiladas Rancheras and a Flauta plate...we split the flautas, rice and beans. Everything we perfect, hot and flavorful. Great place to go but Uber in and out for best experience. I can see how this restaurant could expand and upgrade but without an expansion of their menu it wouldn't work. They need an ala carte selection, upgrade the 55+ menu, add some more items like charro beans, black beans, add specialty items like chiles poblano etc. They keep it simple here like they like it. We'll go elsewhere for finer dining- it's all about expectations.

This is one of our favorite restaurants for dining in, and we discovered tonight that they are just as delicious and generous with takeout orders. The margaritas were as strong as ever, and the food was still delicious. Because they are so generous with their food, after enjoying a fajita, I made myself a few nachos with the beans with melted cheese and guacamole which accompanied the mains. There are so many reasons why people love what has been an Austin legend for years. We're lucky we called in our order because there was a 45 minute wait for a table this evening.

Love me some Y mas definitely the best hole in the wall Mexican food in Austin. Anything with the beef fajita I will leave a helpful tip though! If your party isn't complete, they will not seat you. Even if there's just 1 person missing. Our brother was trying to park (parking is tricky), I asked them if we could sit and she said fine.. but if he wasn't there in 5 min they'd have to split our table. Luckily he made it in time! Also, In the past they allowed you to order drinks while you wait, apparently not anymore. Which is a bummer when you have to wait.. even with no one in the waiting area.

Why all the negative reviews? I went to Enchiladas Y Mas on a recommendation from a friend, and I am SO glad I went. It was packed on a Tuesday night, and that's how I knew it was going to be fire. Everyone at the table ordered margaritas, which were delicious. We also each ordered our own enchilada plate, which was so inexpensive and came with a ton of food. I love enchiladas and Mexican food in general, and I thought their enchiladas were perfectly cooked and the meat was perfectly seasoned. I also love their rice, beans, and salsa. I would say that food took a while to come, but that's understandable considering how busy they were. I have to come again. It's definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants in town.
